What to wear
Wear comfortable, form fitting clothes, similar to what you wear to yoga. You do NOT need to expose your belly in our belly dance classes.
What to bring
Bring water to hydrate, and a towel. We provide complimentary water, but you will need your own water bottle to fill up. We also sell chemical free water bottles and towels in our boutique.
Our classes are barefoot, HOWEVER if you feel you need to wear shoes, please bring a designated pair that are not worn outside.
All the classes are 1 hour long
There is a changing area in the lobby as well as a bathroom in the studio. There are cubbies for you to place your belongings.
Do I need to know how to dance to take Shimmy Pop?
No, our dance class is designed for those with no dance experience.
Taking Belly Dancing if you are pregnant
Belly Dancing can be done while you are pregnant but we ask clients to ask their doctor before starting any excercise regime.
