Reserving Your Spot Online
We highly recommend reserving your spot online. To reserve your spot, view our class schedule and buy a class pass. If you are new to Hipline, check out our Warm Welcome Pass to get a feel for our studio. view class passes

Be sure you arive at least 5 minutes before the class starts to check-in. Always check in at the front desk, even if you have a online reservation. Feel free to call us if you are running late and we will save your spot.

If you do not show for your reserved spot, the class will deduct from your membership. You can early cancel online or call us 510.350.7784. View cancellation policy.

Waitlists
If the class is full, we have a waitlist you can add yourself to. Once you have opted to add yourself to the waitlist, you are responsible for checking your online account to see if you are added to the class. Our cancellation policy applies to waitlists.

If you have not been added to the class from the waitlist, there still may be limited spots available, however this is not gauranteed.

What to wear

Wear comfortable, form fitting clothes, similar to what you wear to yoga. You do NOT need to expose your belly in our belly dance classes.

What to bring
Bring water to hydrate, and a towel. We provide complimentary water, but you will need your own water bottle to fill up. We also sell chemical free water bottles and towels in our boutique.

Wearing shoes
Our classes are barefoot, HOWEVER if you feel you need to wear shoes, please bring a designated pair that are not worn outside.

Class durations

All the classes are 1 hour long

Changing Room
There is a changing area in the lobby as well as a bathroom in the studio. There are cubbies for you to place your belongings.

Do I need to know how to dance to take Shimmy Pop?
No, our dance class is designed for those with no dance experience.

Taking Belly Dancing if you are pregnant
Belly Dancing can be done while you are pregnant but we ask clients to ask their doctor before starting any excercise regime.
