Shimmy Pop!™

is our signature dance cardio class for women of all fitness levels to lose weight, relieve stress, and improve stamina, energy and mood. You do not need to have any dance experience to take this class. Shimmy Pop™ incorporates a variety of movement styles from Belly Dance to “Video Vixen” as well as muscle toning exercises. This is a high-energy workout that incorporates music that will keep you motivated to reach your goals from “Shimmy” to “Pop”!
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to workout, bring a towel and waterbottle.

Shimmy Pop!™
Club Remix
is a Shimmy Pop™ class for our late night Shimmy Poppers who want to sweat it out in our nightclub atmosphere! You will get the full benefits of our cardio workout all under our disco ball and club lights. This is a workout dance party sure to leave you in a great mood and a full sweat!
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to workout, bring a towel and waterbottle.

Power Pop™
is our signature toning class that firms your whole body from arms to abs while improving your muscle-to-fat ratio. The class is a combination of Pilates exercises, Core Stabilization and Resistance to Muscular Contraction, using free weights, the foam roller, and your own body weight. Power Pop™ also focuses on breathing, flexibility, anaerobic endurance and the use of skeletal muscles. The movements are done in both a controlled and dynamic fashion to the beat of your favorite tunes that will keep you motivated to see the results you’ve been looking for.
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to workout, bring a towel, waterbottle, and a yoga mat.


BELLY DANCE TECHNIQUE_____________________________________________________


Shimmy Flow™
is a Belly Dance technique and drill class that focuses on proper movement execution, application of creative combos from classic to contemporary Arabic styles, as well as muscle memory and strengthening. This non-stop, multi-level class set to the beats of the Middle East, is great for those looking to further develop their style and work on technique. We recommend you have a basic understanding of Belly Dance movement before starting which can be acquired in our Belly Dance Beginner Series offered every month.
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to workout or practice dance in, bring a towel, waterbottle, and hipscarf (optional). If you have finger cymbals, bring them as we sometimes add finger cymbal drills to movement as an option.

Belly Dance Int / Adv is a Belly Dance technique class for int/adv dancers that incorporates fun and complex pops, locks and floor patterns that are used by the top Belly Dance stars! Technique, repetition and musicality is the key to success in this class so it is advised that you have at least 6 consecutive months of participation in Shimmy Flow and have taken our Belly Dance Beginner Series Part One and Two. Class incorporates Arabic musicality, choreography, props and techniques to help you feel comfortable with improvisational dancing.
This is a barefoot class, wear what you would normally wear to practice dance in, bring a towel, waterbottle, and hipscarf (optional). If you have finger cymbals, bring them as we sometimes add finger cymbal drills to movement as an option.
