Reservation Cancellation Policy

Hipline has a 2 hour cancellation policy. All unaccounted reservations are released at class start. The penalty for canceling within the 2 hours or not showing up depends on the pass you have chosen (see below). You can cancel via your on-line profile. TIP If you are running late, call us and we will hold your spot.

Late Cancel/No Show Penalties

  • 5 Class Pass: You will lose the class you reserved.
  • Shimmy.Connect.Love: Your account will be charged $5.

Late Arrival

Late arrivals will not be admitted 10 minutes after class start time.

Class Wait-lists

If you are on the wait list, you are responsible for checking your on-line account to see if you have been added to the class. The above class cancellation policies applies if you have been added to the class.

Auto-Pay Pass

Auto-Pay Termination/Suspension Policy Auto-Pay Passes are memberships which auto renew month to month and have a commitment period. Terminations/suspensions require 30 days prior notice to the date of your next auto renewal. Suspensions are only allowed in 30 day increments (max 2 months), starting the day of your next auto-renewal date. We do not pro-rate. There is a $25 support fee/per month of suspension. All requests must be submitted to accounts@myhipline.com.

Auto-Pay Declined Credit Card Policy If your credit card on file for your auto-pay pass is declined, you will be removed from any future scheduled class reservations. You have 2 weeks from the date your auto-pay was scheduled to go through to update your card to your account. Updates must be made directly via your online account. We do not update billing info at Hipline. If your card is not updated within the two-week grace period, your pass will be terminated and you will no longer be eligible for any of auto-pay passes.

Life Happens Policy

The Life Happens Policy applies in the case of injury or bereavement. It is not applicable to the Crazy ‘n Love Unlimited pass. Requests are handled on a case by case basis via e-mail (accounts@myhipline.com). In the case of injury, we require an official note from either a Doctor (MD), Physical Therapist (PT), or Chiropractor (DC).

Wildcards Not Allowed

Sorry ladies, we do not allow double passes. You must pick one pass and shimmy on with it =) If you want insight on how to maximize your time at Hipline with the right pass that suits your schedule, please talk with the front desk studio crew or e-mail accounts@myhipline.com.

Footwear

Due to the finish on the hardwood floor and ensuring the safety of your movement, running/cross-trainers/street sneakers are not allowed in any of the classes. Alternative shoes, acceptable to use, are dance-specific shoes/slippers (Ryka, Capezio, Bloch, and Z-Kickz). Dance slippers must have some tread on the bottom.

We do not allow outdoor shoes on the Dance Floor. We do not allow socks without shoes in class.

Minimum Age

The age minimum for Shimmy Pop and Power Pop classes is 15yrs. 13 – 14 yrs. must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Anyone under the age of 18 yrs. old will be required to have their parent/guardian complete the new client waiver form. This can be done on-line or at the studio.

Child Care Policy

Scheduled Class Cancellation

In the case of an unforseeable emergency, Hipline reserves the right to cancel class, within 48 hours of the class start time. When a class is canceled due to an emergency situation and the regularly scheuled choreographer cannot be replaced, Hipline will make every effort to contact you via phone to notify you and place you in another class at no additional cost.

Abbreviated Holiday Schedule

Hipline has an abbreviated schedule on some national holiday’s and is closed for the winter holiday for one week. We do not prorate passes during this period. See our online schedule for up-to-date info.

Refund Policies

Hipline does not offer returns/exchanges.

Personal Hygiene

Please ensure proper and acceptable hygiene measures are taken. Hipline retains the right to refuse service to any client if a medical condition prevents us from complying with our goal of providing a safe and clean environment.

Fragrances

Please avoid wearing chemical perfumes or unnaturally-scented products; they may cause health effects upon others.

Personal Belongings

Please keep personal belongings in designated areas. Hipline is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
