She descended from the cosmos guided by a dim light of love through the darkness of space. She comes from a musical planet full of dancing women far from the Milky Way. The love created on this planet generates an incredible aura which glows brighter than any star in the galaxy. Hiplina, inspired by the light and colors emanating from her planet, felt the need to share the beauty with the rest of the stars. She climbed her great white lioness, Starfish, holding her orb of lightning and ascended into space. She journeyed through the stars sending out music and love. She saw no colors other than those radiating from her planet, but a hint of a warm glow brought her across the galaxy to our planet Earth.

There are some things that belong together.  They seems to just need each other.  One combo is dance and music.  I mean — I have a hard time imagining what dance is like without music, even if it’s just music in my head.  (I was secretly grooving to Earth, Wind, and Fire today while out and about).  I know that I love to groove when I am with my fellow Hipliners.  It just works for me.  There are food flavors that just belong together.  Classic combos that seem so obvious together, like ripe red tomato & basil or lime & coconut.  I am convinced that part of the immense beauty of food entices us with the way flavors love to be together on the plate, and in our mouths.  Here is one of my favorite being-together dishes:  it’s earthy, spicy and rich.  Enjoy!
